Our History

Our story began in 2001 when Bishop Eric founded CWC in his home. CWC was birthed out of his passion to share the life changing message of the Gospel. He envisioned building a church that would demonstrate the true power of God, set people free and lead them into the presence of the Lord.

Since 2001, CWC has grown into a community of hundreds of believers who are passionate about Jesus and living a life in accordance to God’s will and word.

Simply stated our mission is “to prepare generations to meet the Lord”. Our goal is to teach you how to become kingdom-minded disciples of Christ through the Word of God while building relationships through fellowship with God and each other.

Our Values

Christ-centered. Kingdom-minded. Spirit-filled.

Our core values are ordinances for our ministry.

Our Beliefs

We invite you to explore our beliefs and join us in our pursuit of living out our faith in boldness.

  • We believe the Holy bible is the inspired and infallible Truth.

We believe in the Holy Trinity: The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, they are fully divine, fully one, yet they are three distinct persons

We believe there is only one way to the Father and that is through the Son, Jesus.

We believe Jesus is the Son of God.

We believe Jesus is the word of God.

We believe Jesus died for our sins and was risen from the dead.

We believe that we are justified by faith.

We believe the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God.

We believe in fully immersion baptism (water Baptism).

We believe in the Holy Communion, both corporately and individually.

We believe that the church is the body of Jesus.

  • God is the first person of the holy trinity. He is the great I am. There are many aspects of God which are revealed through his names. The Names of God act as a roadmap for learning about His character. Since the Bible is God's Word to us, the names He chose in scripture are meant to unveil His true nature to us.

  • Jesus is the second person of the holy trinity. He is God's beloved son, the seed of Abraham, the way, the truth and the life. He is fully God and fully man. He is the only way to God, the Father. He died for our sins and He was risen. Through Him we have eternal life (salvation). He is at the right hand of God interceding for us to this day.

  • The Holy Spirit is the third person of the holy trinity, the spirit of God. The Holy Spirit is described as the helper, the comforter and the power of God. The Holy Spirit has come to glorify the Son who himself came to glorify the Father. The Holy Spirit wants to speak to us, especially through God’s Word. The Holy Spirit dwells within us.

  • Salvation represents our reconciliation with God. Salvation comes through accepting Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. You do this by confessing that Jesus is Lord, and believing in your heart that He died and rose again, shedding His blood for your sins. Salvation is a gift accepted by faith. Salvation is the first step in your spiritual journey with God, with the goal of attaining spiritual maturity through His Word.

  • Baptism is one of the two sacraments of the church appointed by Jesus. It is the full immersion of a believer in water in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. It is an act of obedience.

  • Communion is one of the two sacraments of the church appointed by Jesus. It is the act of eating bread “Christ’s body” and drinking wine “Christ’s blood” in remembrance of what He did for us.
