Throughout scripture we are reminded of the importance of giving back to the Lord a portion of what He has so generously provided for us. The Lord challenges us to test him, “see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it." His word tells us that giving is an act of worship. At Christian Worship Center we believe you should never feel condemned or manipulated into giving. As with any act of worship unto God we should do it freely and cheerfully.

We know trusting God with your finances can be challenging, but there is a sense of freedom that comes with giving God leadership over finances. When we give we are putting God first in our lives and trusting Him to provide for all of our needs.

The word "tithe" means tenth or 10%. Tithing is giving the first ten percent of our income back to God.

Anything we give beyond the 10% is an offering.
